The Malaysia Food Heritage Initiative (MFHI) is an initiative and ecosystem platform created to preserve, document, promote and grow Malaysia's food heritage, while connecting it to entrepreneur development, market opportunities and food tourism.
MFHI sees food heritage not merely as something to be preserved, but as a cultural and economic asset with the potential to be developed for wider markets.
Through one integrated ecosystem, MFHI connects food heritage, entrepreneurs, industry players, agencies, institutions, markets and the tourism sector to create more sustainable development opportunities.
The ultimate goal is to ensure Malaysia's food heritage continues to be known and inherited by future generations, while delivering economic value to entrepreneurs and communities and strengthening Malaysia's standing as a food and cultural destination internationally.
